Office of Residence Life

Beginning in August, 2016, I became an RA and am responsible for fostering personal, academic and social growth while building community among residents. In addition to planning events and addressing residents' concerns with fellow RAs at weekly meetings, I serve as a role model for the hall community. My position also requires addressing emergency situations and responding effectively and appropriately to violations of university policy.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)

I served as the Co-President of the Villanova Student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers for 3 semesters. In addition to planning site visits and hosting guest lectures, our chapter holds study sessions, resume reviews, and social events for members and students interested in joining.

Pastoral Musicians

I sang bass for this group of musicians who provide music at three weekly Masses, as well as other university celebrations as required. In April 2016, we held a farewell concert for our outgoing director for which nearly 200 alumni returned to sing with the group one last time. I was responsible for arranging audio and video recordings of the event, mastering the raw audio, and producing a commemorative CD and video. Those, and other videos can be found on the Pastoral Musicians Youtube Channel.

Villanova University Tech Crew

VUTC is an on-campus, student-run business that provides audio and visual services for a wide variety of events held by other university organizations, ranging from small presentations to large-scale concerts. During my junior and senior year, I served as the Personnel Manager and President of the organization and was responsible for training new members, developing the organization's strategy at weekly board meetings, planning larger scale events, and maintaining customer satisfaction. In addition, with my coding background, I assisted in the mainenance of the organization's website, including the creation of a database integrated with our website to track the usage of all our current equipment.

Boy Scouts of America, Eagle Scout

During my senior year of high school, I completed my Eagle Scout community service project in honor of Mrs. Marybeth Carey, a teacher at the school for many years who passed away in 2008. The project, valued at more than $2000 and involving nearly 400 hours of volunteer work, aimed to enhance the Marybeth Carey Memorial Prayer Garden on the grounds of St. Joseph's Elementary School. The project involved designing, procuring supplies and donations, and building the gazebo picured above.

Fun, you ask?

Ok, so when I really have free time, I enjoy hiking, running, photography, and music. In fact, all of the header photos are originals, and you can see more of my work here.
